Yesterday morning I left Paddys Palace in Dublin at 9 am for the start of my 6 day tour around the Emerald Isle. I'll be with the same people for the next 3 to 6 days (some people are only on a 3 day tour of Northern Ireland).
We stopped at a small monastic area for about 20 minutes which I think was called Monasterboice or something similar. It is famous for its Celtic Crosses.

Afterwards we arrived in Belfast and went on a Black Taxi Tour. This tour took us through the segregated part of the city. For years there was constant fighting between those loyal to the British and those loyal to the Irish Republic. There is a wall that divides the city in certain areas with gates that close every night and all weekend. The fighting has calmed for the most part but there is still lots of tension.
There are murals on lots of buildings which are pretty neat. Additionally we got to write on the wall. I wrote "One Day" in reference to my favorite Matisyahu song.
We walked around Queens College for a little bit and I'm insanely jealous of how beautiful it is. We also walked around a museum for about 10 minutes right before it closed.
From there we went to our hostel and relaxed for a bit. Some of the girls bought some drinks and played a drinking game called 21. it was hilarious. I played (without alcohol) and although it would've been funnier if I'd been drinking I think it would've been so hard non-sober.
