After a very terrible nights sleep I spent my morning packing up my last few things. My mom and I just hung out until 3 when we finally left for Chicago. Getting to the airport from South Bend absolutely sucks. you either have to go through Chicago or go a super complex way around it. We made it successfully, checked my bag and hung out some more until I finally had to head through security.
Well I got through TSA and found my gate for departure! I really don't understand why everyone complains about the security so much. Besides the initial wait in line actually getting through was super quick and easy. Now I just get to sit around and wait forever since my flight doesn't leave for over an hour. And the windows in front of the Aer Lingus gate are opaque so I can't even watch planes take off.
Lucky for me I brought the first book in the Divergent series plus I can start writing in my new journal. or I could people watch but I'd need to find a new seat since I picked a weird one between a wall and a window I can't even sit out of. Maybe I'll just people listen.
In about 9 hours I will be on the Emerald Isle! I can hardly wait but I could also just about puke with nervousness. Oh well. Guess I'm as ready as I will ever be. Ready to fly!
